Macadamia nut milk... the next big thing in plant-based beverages?
Macadamia milk was a hot new trend at the Winter Fancy Food Show, with new launches from Royal Hawaiian Orchards and Jindilli beverages. Jindilli, which initially launched 'Milkadamia' in the foodservice sector, has now developed a retail product after getting requests from retailers including Sprouts.
Milkadamia, which has an un-named 'vegetable protein' added, retails at $4-5 per 32oz pack. Royal Hawaiian, in turn, says its product will retail at around $3.49.
