Gutenberg Project – Reinventing the ‘bar at home’ concept
Announced at Pernod Ricard’s innovation day on January 28, this invention aims to reinvent home cocktails by supplying a library of ‘container books’ holding spirits connected to a service platform. This allows for home delivery of refills based on container levels and tutorials on mixology and cocktail recipes – you can watch a video of Project Gutenberg in action.
Alain Dufosse, MD of Pernod’s Breakthrough Innovation Group (BIG) said: “We are still only at a very early stage of the project but the potential of dedicated products, services, personalized offers and experiences is infinite.”
