Zenith International says that 19 supermarket and other retail buyers have registered to attend its 2014 UK Soft Drinks Conference slated for May 7 in Central London.

Asda, Boots, BP, the Co-op, Holland & Barrett and Tesco are all sending representatives for the conference, the theme of which is ‘Creating New Choices’.

Speakers include the chairman of Action on Sugar and the shadow public health minister on meeting society's needs.

Innovators including Bottlegreen, Feel Good, Fever-Tree, Little Miracles and Vimto will also speak, while there will be an entrepreneur 'shoot out' advised by an expert panel.

Zenith International and Ipsos will provide the latest market insights, while the event (organized with the British Soft Drinks Association, sponsored by Americk Webtech) will see the launch of the BSDA's 2014 UK market report.

100+ places have been reserved so far, with delegates from Britvic, Cott, Danone and Highland Spring to Lucozade Ribena Suntory, PepsiCo, Princes, Red Bull and Refresco Gerber.
