The Ardagh Group has produced a limited edition Diet Coke bottle to commemorate Homecoming Scotland 2014.

The 25cl aluminium bottle is decorated with tartan and thistle, both emblems of Scotland.

Its launch coincides with the 50th anniversary of Coca-Cola Enterprises’ East Kilbride factory.

Homecoming Scotland 2014 is a year-long programme of events to celebrate Scotland’s past, present and future.

Marc Bettinger, sales director aluminium packaging, Ardagh, said, “We were delighted to be associated with this iconic representation of Scottish industry and culture, particularly in a year when the country has hosted two great sporting events (the Commonwealth Games and Ryder Cup) as well as its Homecoming festival.”

Ardagh has produced limited edition bottles for CCE in both metal and glass on previous occasions. These include a commemorative World Cup aluminium bottle and a Robert Burns special edition Coca-Cola sleeved glass bottle.

Ardagh Group produces metal and glass packaging for food, beverage, and consumer care brands.
